    How to make a silicon mold of hydrangea calyx
    Silicon molds shrink a little when they harden
    So It is better to choose a larger calyx 
    In this video I am making a mold for 4 sheets
    I might have just needed one large calyx
    You can also see some of my failures in this video(^^;)
    【Case】
    Make a case with plastic folder
    Cut into strips
    Round to fit the calyx
    *The silicon overflowed, so the height should be about double this
    Cut off the excess
    Clip it on temporarily
    Tape them together
    Stick it on the inside too
    Large enough that the calyx does not hit the wall
    Clay for silicon
    Match the size of the calyx
    Push it in a little so it doesn't penetrate
    It might be easier to handle if it were a little thicker
    Seal the gap so that silicon does not leak
    Check for any cracks
    Inside too, just in case
    These are completed!
    Place in a vacuum pump container for later use
    【Silicon liquid】
    HTV2000  Silicon liquid Soft type
    Mix equal amounts of Liquid A and Liquid B
    A little difficult to predict the amount needed
    At the end, carefully drop by drop
    Liquid A was 82 grams, so this amount of error is fine
    Need to work quickly as it begins to harden
    Mix well, even in the corners
    Pour into the case
    【Vacuum pump】
    Vacuum pump to remove air bubbles
    I made a mistake!
    Be careful not to close this handle before turning off the power
    Note that the current move is a bad example
    Place the calyxes in the silicon solution
    Push it in so as not to damage it
    Vacuum once more
    Wrong again,,
    The correct way to do it is a little later, so please refer to that
    Leave in vacuum for 10 minutes
    Fast forward
    10 minutes later
    The calyx that moved has been repositioned to the center
    Looks like no air bubbles!
    Put in the freezer just to be sure
    Roughly 10 minutes
    I took it out of the freezer
    Leave it at room temperature for 8 hours
    8 hours later
    It's hardening
    【Once more】
    There are thin areas, so add silicon
    I think I'll just pour it up here
    Make a new silicon liquid
    Same procedure as previous work
    This time it's perfect, so please use it as a reference
    When the needle stops
    Close the valve
    turn off power
    Leave in this condition for 10 minutes
    Fast forward 10 minutes
    It is correct to open slowly like this
    Put in freezer for 10 minutes
    10 minutes later
    Leave at room temperature for 8 hours
    【Separate】
    Silicon overflowed and stuck to the bottom
    Separate them with scissors
    Cut a little at a time so as not to damage the calyx
    I made the mistake of shooting in time-lapse
    Slow version with different calyxes because it's tricky
    Hook the blade to the end of the calyx like this
    Separate the calyx so as not to damage it
    【Try out】
    I put potato starch on it to make it easier to see
    Nicely done!
    I made molds with lightweight resin clay
    It looks good!
    It is made with only the largest mold
